Exercise

Heart Health

The dread of exercise can be a huge barrier to doing it but, once we start, the benefits are amazing.  Exercise burns calories and boosts your metabolism and in turn helps your waist line which can feel great.  Regular physical activity is also crucial for maintaining and improving cardiovascular health, as it strengthens the heart, lowers blood pressure, and improves circulation.

Mental Health

Beyond the physical benefits, the main benefit is to your mental health. The endorphins, that are released by exercising, are natural mood lifters and they can be hugely beneficial to your mental state.

Sleep quality is also helped by regular exercise, as are energy levels and cognitive function.

Don't Have to Run

Find something you enjoy doing, if you don’t enjoy doing it you won’t keep at it.  Running is one of those things that some people love but lets face it most  people hate.

It sounds like the most efficient use of your time to go on a run and really burn some calories but running can cause problems with your knees and can cause painful shin splints. But most of all, running can be boring.

Foget you're Exercising

The best exercise is things that we do that are fun and therefore we forget we are exercising.  It doesn’t have to be the most energetic activity, just something that makes us move.

Dancing

Dancing is a great form of exercise.  Our concentration is on getting the moves right and remembering the routine, so much so that we can almost forget we are exercising at all.
